• The equipments featured here are representative of those used in the United Kingdom before the introduction of a legal CB radio service (in 1981). 
  
  Those of you who have enjoyed CB only since the service was formally introduced will see examples of the equipments which 'blazed the trail'.
  
  Those of you who were among the trail blazers back then will, I hope, find refreshed your memories of those fun times and perhaps of a favourite rig.
  
  If you fall into neither group, or are visiting from outside the UK (CQ DX !), then I hope that you still find the content to be of some interest.
